First official Anime Club meeting this Friday! (9/11/2009) Location: Khoury 203
Doors will be open at 6:30pm
Screenings start at 7:00pm till 11:00pm Come meet and socialize with your fellow anime, manga, and game fans!
General Schedule:
6:30 ~ 7:00 - Chat time!
7:00 ~ 11:00 - Anime screening with breaks in between.
11:00 ~ Whenever - Games, chat, and/or karaoke!
We're not sure exactly what will be shown, but there is a list right now. We will adapt to reactions :P. Bring your friends!

We also have two very large (wall-sized) projectors and screens available to us. One of these will be in the Media Room where you can watch some of the movies and anime we've listed (we are very flexible regarding what people want to watch...this is just what we think would be good Halloween themed anime), as well as some Karaoke later in the night. In the Game Room, we will use the large projector to show the tournaments we will be holding. We have quite a few empty timeslots for this projector, so if people are willing to start up another small tournament (such as Guilty Gear), we can use it for that as well. While the projector is not in use, we will most likely use it for simply another console. In addition to these two huge projectors, we will have 3 smaller projectors and screens set up for normal console gaming. We plan to have a PS3, XBOX360, PS2, and a Wii all available to play. November 2nd: HALLOWEEN PARTY!! So, it's confirmed, we have the Ballrooms for our Halloween Party on November 2nd. In addition to cosplay contests and such, we plan on having: - Masquerade (Costume contest, picture taking, etc.) - Karaoke - Console games and tournaments (Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core, Super Smash Bros., DDR, and more) - Some anime and movies - Music and dancing We will have some snacks for everyone to munch on, but we are fortunate to be right next to the Lair, where you can get some burgers, chicken, and some melonade to quench your thirst :P. More updates to come as we prepare a schedule for the above events and other things. |
